The former supermodel listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
Three months after the world learned that Seal and Heidi Klum were calling it quits, Klum has officially filed for divorce in Los Angeles, according to People.
The former model has listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their divorce. In addition, Klum is asking for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of their four children, granting Seal visitation rights. The Project Runway host is also requesting the judge change her last name, which is legally Samuel, back to Klum, which she only uses professionally.
Back in January, the couple said, "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition."
Since the couple parted ways, Seal has talked about his impending divorce several times. The Soul 2, singer told Tavis Smiley, "We have a tremendous amount of love and respect for each other. Just because you decide to separate I don't think you all of a sudden stop loving each other."
