The trailer for the remake of the classic 1976 film Sparkle was released this morning on the Today Show. The much-anticipated film features an all-star cast of Jordin Sparks, Tika Sumpter, Derek Luke and Terrence J — but the performance everyone is looking forward to is that of the late Whitney Houston. Many believe that the film would have been the singer’s comeback project.
Sparkle is set to hit theaters on August 10.
