After receiving death threats, Halle Berry wants to keep her daughter safe in France.
It looks like Halle Berry had a good reason for requesting permission to move to France with her daughter Nahla. The man who threatened her life is no longer in custody.
Robert Hoskins, a mentally unstable patient who allegedly threatened to "slit her throat", has escaped from the mental institution where he was being housed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is still searching for 54-year-old Hoskins, who escaped from the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, California last week. Hoskins was institutionalized in the state mental facility following similar death threats he made to Madonna in 1995.
To add to her worries, another judge has agreed to release Richard Franco -- the man who pleaded guilty to stalking Berry earlier last year. Franco was sentenced to 386 days in jail and was released early because he displayed good work and behavior, reports E! News.
Berry has filed restraining orders on both men. A judge will review Berry's request to move Nahla to France to ensure her overall safety.
