Beyonce Makes First Post-Baby Appearance in NYC

Beyonce stepped out on the town Monday night for the first time since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January.

Decked in a red figure-flaunting Alice Temperly dress and embellished platform Christian Louboutin pumps, the 30-year-old new mom made her first post-baby appearance to celebrate hubby Jay-Z’s concerts for charity at New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Later, she reportedly attended the concert after-party at Jay’s 40/40 club. “It was amazing,” she told the New York Daily News of the first of Jay-Z’s two concert dates at the famed NYC concert hall. Proceeds from the concert will benefit his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and the United Way.

Clearly making reference to her daughter, Beyonce wore blue nail polish and a blue cocktail ring. A day before her appearance, she also wrote “The Year of Blue!” on her website to congratulate the New York Giants.
