Kanye West clears up details on his fashion line and passion on Twitter.
It looks like Kanye West may have set a new record for a celebrity Twitter rant. The rap star poured out his heart late last night on the site, in a series of over 70 tweets. He cleared a few things up about his much-talked-about fashion line, then shared his thoughts on life and his plans to launch a major design company in the near future.
He kicked off his rant discussing his “passion for fashion” and told everyone that the money for his first Paris show came out of his own pocket. Once he set the record straight about that he moved on to clearing up any confusion surrounding the line’s name. Previous reports refer to the line as DW, but Kanye says it’s just called Kanye West.

Although he's a self proclaimed "College Drop Out" West's been studying fashion for some eight years -- who knew? Looking at his concerts, videos, and lyrics he's certainly a creative person, but he admits that having so much fame and fortune has stunted him creatively. He writes, "Being a celebrity has afforded me many opportunities but has also boxed me in creatively."
During his Twitter venting session West also announced mega plans to start up a design company named "Donda," “a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce theit dreams and ideas.” “I am assembling a team of architects, clothing designers, directors, musicians, producers, A&Rs, writers, publicists, social media experts, app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionists, doctors, scientists, teachers..." Like we said, Mr. West really had a lot to say.

Ultimately, West plans to make products and experiences that people want and can afford. "We want to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see, hear, touch, taste and feel," he tweeted. In West's long-winded thoughts one thing was abundantly clear. Like Serena Williams, what he’s good at and what pays the bills isn't exactly his passion.
