Although these songs weren’t in any particular order, we’re sure Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation” is a top contender for number one, as is Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N***as in Paris,” for obvious reasons.
Beyonce also had a stellar year. She released “4,” which went platinum, held an impressive four-night concert at Roseland Ballroom, put on a groundbreaking performance at the 2011 Billboard Awards, and made history by becoming the first African-American female to ever headline the Glastonbury Festival. Lastly — her biggest moment of the year was undoubtedly her baby bump reveal at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
If she wants 2012 to be her biggest year yet, she’s got her work cut out for her.
