Lance Gross and Vanessa Williams join Tyler Perry's "Marriage Counselor" cast.
It looks like the leading cast of Tyler Perry’s latest film “The Marriage Counselor” is complete.
Blackfilm.com confirmed that both Lance Gross and Vanessa Williams have signed on for starring roles. They will join cast members Jurnee Smollett and Kim Kardashian for filming in Atlanta. The movie will be based on Perry’s popular stage play about a marriage counselor who crosses the line with a patient and jeopardizes her own marriage. Jurnee Smollet is set to play Judith, an Ivy League counselor. Gross will play her husband and Williams has signed on to play her mother. Kardashian will take on the role of Ava, the city girl who gives Smollett's character support and a makeover during a personal low point.
The film begins shooting in Atlanta this week and it looks like Williams is psyched to get started. “Headed to Hotlanta to meet mogul Tyler Perry for the 1st time & get fitted for a role in his new film. I’m sure fashion will be fab!,” she said on Twitter. Does this cast have you excited to see “The Marriage Counselor”.
