The nominations for the American Music Awards are in, and “Rolling in the Deep” singer Adele leads the group with four nominations.
According to USA Today, the British soul singer and songwriter was nominated for Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favorite Album for “21.”
For Artist of the Year, Adele stands up against some greats; Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, and Taylor Swift.
Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga all earned three AMA nominations, while Beyonce picked up two.

Grammy-winning Adele stepped on the scene with her freshman album, “19”, which garnered her attention from around the globe. But her second album, “21,” made her a household name.
“21” hit the top of the Billboard charts, making it the number one album after its first week.
