T.I. To Be Held in Prison Until End of September

It looks like T.I. will spend at least another few weeks in jail. After his recent re-arrest, authorities have now issued the rapper an official release date of Sept. 29, Vibe.com reports.

Just last week, the rapper was released from prison but quickly found himself behind bars again after driving a luxury car to a paraole meeting. Authorities says there were angered by the rapper’s high-profile choice of transporation and arrested him shortly after his first release.

T.I.’s attorney Steve Sadow said authorities have yet to formally explain how T.I.’s trip on the motor coach was in violation of any law.
