T.I. Signs a Book Deal, Will Release First Novel in October

Just a day after after his release from an Arkansas federal prison, T.I. scored a VH1 reality show, and now he’s on his way to becoming an author.

According to the Associated Press, T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) has collaborated with Janet Jackson’s biographer, David Ritz, on a work of fiction called “Power & Beauty,” which will be released on October 11th.

Billed as ‘a love story, a crime story and a survival story, the novel chronicles the lives of two childhood friends whose “dangerous dealings” on the streets of Atlanta tear them apart.
