Jump for joy. The 'How Does It Feel' singer is finally back in the studio.
Ladies, you can breath a sigh of relief. It looks like the wait for a new D'Angelo album is finally over.
Last night, the singer held a studio session with Roots drummer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, who tweeted, "Most people use midnight as a time to sleep. Others are working on their 11 year followup. This of course being hour number one."
Tentatively titled "James River," his new LP will reportedly be ready by the end of the year, though it could be pushed back to early 2012, reports Billboard.com.
After waiting with baited breath for over a decade, we can't help but wonder what D'Angelo has in store.
