Singer Mya is auctioning off a dinner date to help support a major animal rescue organization.

Are you Mya’s biggest fan? She hasn’t been making music lately, but she has been doing some good works. The outspoken animal rights advocate is giving away a dinner date to help raise money for the North Shore Animal League America, the largest no-kill rescue in the world.

The auction is live right now on Currently, the highest bid is for $850, but the auction won’t close until tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15th. Mary J. Blige once auctioned a Roc Nation internship with her team on the same site.

Mya is scheduled to drop her new album “K.I.S.S (Keep It Sexy and Simple)” in late 2011.
