TIGIF! See why we're grabbing two biscotti for our morning brew:

  • After weeks of grueling competition and fierce performances, our star on "American Idol" Jacob Lusk was sent home. It's a shame he couldn't have gotten down to the final two, but he's a stellar performer and we look forward to seeing more of him in the future. As a side note, he sang Luther Vandross' "A House is Not a Home" as his farewell song. [Black Voices]

  • Chris Brown's mother wants him to deal with his feelings about the Rihanna situation. "I think he really needs to talk about the situation in itself, what actually happened to Rihanna... so that he can get that out for himself. He has to learn to deal with it and go on with his life. This is something that happened, it was a huge mistake... it was not good at all. But he is still a human being and we all make mistakes and we live and go on with it. But he has to own it, deal with it and move on with his life," she said in a recent interview. Ironically, one of Chris Brown's birthday resolution is to be more mature. [Perez Hilton]

  • Paula Patton says she's waiting for her son's Black characteristics to shine through. She told Chelsea Lately that he has blond hair and blue eyes. Check out her funny interview. It'll have you cracking up. [Black Voices]

  • NeNe Leakes made an appearance on the Russ Parr Morning Show, and things got ugly. The crew said she seemed like a bully and of course, she retaliated in the only way she knows how — with her sharp tongue. Check out the audio. [RNBPhilly]

  • Beyonce is preparing to launch a new dance video game, "Mako." There's no release date yet, but are you ready to do your best "Single Ladies" routine? Who else should be featured on that game? [That Grape Juice]

  • Angela Bassett has confirmed on "The Talk" that there will be a "Waiting to Exhale 2!" She said ALL of the ladies are coming back! Including Whitney!! [Black Voices]

  • Although Biggie's son Christopher C.J. Wallace did a great job as a young Biggie in "Notorious," he revealed he didn't want to take the job, but grandma Voletta Wallace pushed him to do it. [Hip-Hop Wired]
