We've been eagerly awaiting the day that Tracee Ellis Ross would return to TV, and finally, that day has come! BET announced this week that Ross will star in a new comedy show called "Reed Between the Lines." Ross is best known for her role as Joan in the hit TV series "Girlfriends." The new show will air in October in a move to increase BET's original scripted programming...

Ross will play Dr. Carla Reed, a psychologist and mother of three who balances her busy career with the challenges and drama of her eclectic family. Malcolm-Jamal Warner will co-star as her husband, an English teacher.

Production on the series began in Atlanta last August. "Reed Between the Lines" will join "The Game" and "Let's Stay Together," the popular comedies which were both renewed for another season on BET. Will you tune into Ross' new sitcom?
