  • Today Michelle Obama will be Oprah Winfrey's special guest as the two honor military families. They will discuss the sacrifices families make when their husbands, wives, brothers and sisters go to war. "Part of the challenge of getting the message out about military families is they never ask for help...   • After much speculation and banter, Jay-Z has officially agreed to co-produce the remake of "Annie," starring Willow Smith. He reportedly inked a deal with Will and Jada's Overbrook Entertainment. [Eur Web]

  • Nelson Mandela is hospitalized in Johannesburg, South Africa. According to a spokesman, he is undergoing routine tests. No word on his current health condition. The former South African President is 92 years old. [Bossip]
