Forget about the football game, Erykah Badu and Prince will have the hottest ticket in Dallas, Texas come Super Bowl weekend. These two eccentric musicians will team up for one special benefit show for the Gross-Michael Foundation scholarship program on February 4th.
Stationed in Dallas, the foundation aims to provide a platform for British Contemporary art for the youth in the area. According to the foundation’s mission statement, it puts on exhibitions, programs and educates young adults on art. In conjunction with the Dallas community, the foundation’s goal is to engage and inspire artistic youth.
Prince and Erykah Badu will perform to raise the cash to see this program continue to thrive.
“With the funds raised as this one-of-a-kind event, students will be able to reach for their dreams… Our scholarship winners and all of us are honored that Prince has selected The Gross-Michael Foundation as the beneficiary,” says Joyce Goss, executive directory of the foundation.
