Robinson sang a song he had personally written for Marie. "Smokey Robinson just sang the most beautiful song he wrote 4 Teena Marie," tweeted actress Tichina Arnold. "Wow. I still can't believe she's gone."

Wonder, Gordy and her daughter Alia Rose also shared their remembrances of Lady Tee. The two-hour memorial was closed to the press.
