The folks at Nickelodeon have also taken notice and are set to honor her tomorrow at the 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards for her "Let's Move" initiative, aimed at reducing child obesity in America. Obama and the TV Network have been working together to increase physical activity in our youth. "First Lady Michelle Obama has taken on one if this generation's most pressing concerns: the health and wellness of our nation's children," Marva Smalls, Executive Vice President, Public Affairs and Chief of Staff Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and family group, told People. "Her willingness to work hard, influence others and her dedication to improving the nation is inspiring, and we are proud to honor her for her commitment to empowering kids and families to address one of the most important issues of today." Obama has taped a message for the Awards show on Saturday, which will also feature presenters Chris Rock and ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood 2010 honoree Queen Latifah and a performance by Rihanna.
