High School Student Knits Blankets for Homeless Moms
While most 16-year-olds are concerned with getting their driver's licenses and finding out where the party is, Darryl Currie is using his skills to help his community. Currie uses his unusual hobby of knitting, which he says relaxes him when he's stressed, to give warm blankets to homeless pregnant women in his St. Louis neighborhood, Momlogic reports.
