I have the most beautiful pieces throughout my home, but I am nervous of the electric wiring in them. I worry that the wiring or whatever gets old, just like me, and doesn’t act as it should. Should I worry? KIM MYLES: When it comes to wiring, better safe than sorry! It’s worth having a licensed electrician come out to assess their integrity, because no matter how beautiful the lighting is (and I do love a vintage chandelier!), it’s never worth a fire in your home.
