Today’s topic: Staring at the sea Dear Kim, I’m tired of staring at the white walls in my bedroom and I’m ready to add some color!! I’m obsessed with the ocean and am thinking of painting my walls jade. Any other ideas for creating a seaside theme in my big city apartment? Also, are there any other pieces of dcor that would help lend to that vibe? KIM MYLES: I think jade would amazing; like beautiful sea glass! ‘Lively Tune’ by Behr is a lovely blue that could work as well. The key to imparting a sense of the ocean is to accessorize well. Sheer white curtains, bedside lamps with glass bases, and a gorgeous mirror encrusted with shells would be a great start. Read more:
