Evander Holyfield's Wife Claims Domestic Violence
Evander Holyfield's wife, Candi Calvana Smith is claiming that the boxing champion hit her. According to the Huffington Post, Smith sought a temporary restraining order against Holyfield after the couple allegedly had an argument over church payments. RadarOnline reported that Holyfield told her to "put God first in her life" before allegedly hitting her in the face, head and back.
"Candi claims that Holyfield has hurt her before and that he has been violent in the presence of their children." the Radar article continues, quoting Candi saying that her husband "choked" her "in 2008" and recently "threw a bottle of water" at her.
