Alicia Keys was Saturday Night Live’s first musical guest of the decade last night and she rocked it, as expected. In a totally unexpected (and hilarious) move Alicia played on an interlude from her 2003 hit “You Don’t Know My Name” (where she called Mos Def) by starring in a digital short called ‘Booty Call’ where she got a little frisky with a mop-topped fella named Lyle.
Except Lyle is not as sexy as Mos and to make things worse he has invited his grandmother to join in on the fun. Things get a little hot until Lyle reveals he’s kinda busy at an intervention session for a friend.
And for her performance for “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart,” Alicia proved yet again that she knows how to bring “it.” We’ll let you be the judge.
