Tiger Woods has been hiding out lately, as suggested dirty details from his personal life continue to leak through the mediasphere. However, he did take time out to say sorry to his benefit golf tournament’s sponsors and team via a note on his Web site, TMZ reported.
“As the final round of the Chevron World Challenge begins, I would like to extend my heartfelt thank you to everyone affiliated with the event, especially our amazing title sponsor, Chevron… I’d also like to thank all of our supporting sponsors and my tireless, dedicated staff, board and volunteers who collectively produce this first-class golf tournament. I am so grateful to them for their efforts, and I am sincerely sorry I was unable to fulfill my duties as host and player in this important event.”
Throughout his alleged infidelity scandal, the golf champion has managed to hold on to his endorsement deals with companies like Nike and Gatorade.
Last Week, Tiger posted an apology for his “transgressions” to his family and fans on his Web site.
