Dr. Dre may have his fans waiting a little longer for a follow-up to his last album, “2001,” but according to Billboard, he is releasing a new product next week. Dr. Dre and Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine have joined forces with computer giant HP to release HP Envy 15 Beats, a limited edition notebook PC. The computer, which will be sold with Dr. Dre’s Beats headphones—an industry favorite—and mixing software, becomes available on October 22 exclusively at Best Buy. Iovine told Billboard several music artists and producers “helped HP engineers fine-tune the project;” those industry leaders who provided feedback: will.i.am, Kanye West, Pharrell, Timbaland and Polow da Don.
