Mariah’s New Album Is for King of Pop
UPDATED 9.25.09: “Memoris of an Imperfect Angel,” the new album from Mariah Carey, is dedicated to Michael Jackson, according to the Hollywood Reporter. As we reported earlier, the CD hits stores on Tuesday, September 29. And it’s the first time an album’s liner notes have been sponsored by a major magazine—in this case, Elle. Expect to see ads for MC’s new fragrance and movie, “Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire.” The notes will also include interviews with the songbird and hubby Nick Cannon. Looks like Def Jam is pulling out all the stops. Will you be buying “Angel” on Tuesday?—ZH
