After 10 years of research gathering genetic samples from various tribes in Africa and Blacks in Chicago, Pittsburg, Baltimore and North Carolina, a University of Pennsylvania geneticist has concluded information that will ultimately help the well-being of African-Americans, according to Philly.com.

The information will help predict what drugs best work for people of various ethnicities. The study found that most African-Americans can trace their ancestry to West Africa while some had more the 40 percent generic ancestry from Europe. Most of all the data confirmes that Africa is the most genetically diverse place on Earth further pushing the notion that it is the birthplace of civilization itself. -WLW
