Dante and Terica Davis filed a complaint with the Wichita NAACP about a board game created by a student in the same class as their child who attends Andover Middle School. The student created a board game about the Klu Klux Klan, according to the Wichita Eagle. Apparently, one of the board game captions reads, “You forget to clean your white robe so you can’t go to the lynching. You are punished. Move back two spaces.” The school’s principle, who is meeting with the parents and the teacher who assigned the project, contends that the student meant no harm. The Davis’ first saw the game on display when they attended a school open house.-WLW
