Once tipping the scale at 307 pounds, TV personality Star Jones revealed on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that the hardest struggle of her life has been maintaining a healthy weight, according to Yahoo!News.com. Jones underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2003 and lost 160 lbs. and was later publicly scrutinized for apparently taking the “easy way out.” “I was an addict for all practical purposes; I had never stuck to a real diet, and I’d never stuck to a real exercise program,” says the former cohost of “The View.” “I’m still 300 lbs. in my head some days,” she said.-QS
