Queen of all media Oprah Winfrey has found a way to use her weight gain to her advantage. Last month the talk-show host launched her Best Life Week guide that was devoted to improving health, finances and relationships in the new year and candidly discussed her disappointing 40-pound weight gain at length on her show, magazine, Web site and satellite radio. The media attention surrounding her weight moved over 1.1 million copies of O The Oprah Magazine. That move made it the best-selling issue in three years. She might struggle with her weight, but this millionaire mogul knows how to sustain and maintain public interest, especially during these trying economic times. -QS
