Black Coaches: Starting a Hotline for the Overlooked
Black coaches are tired of waiting for their shot at field stardom. Floyd Keith, the executive director of Black Coaches and Administrators, wants tochange the lack of diversity on university coaching staffs across the country, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Keith recently opened a national telephone hotline, offering legal advice to Black coaches in hopes of building a civil rights suit against these universities. The hotline would offer coaches and staff insight as a forum to raise questions regarding possible violations.
