Family and friends of Sean Bell along with community leaders gathered on Liverpool Street in Queens, New York, earlier this week to honor the second anniversary of his death. The group participated in an overnight prayer vigil led by Reverend Al. Sharpton. Bell was set to be married to his high school sweetheart, Nicole Paultre, when he was killed in a hail of 50 bullets fired by police officers. Bell and a group of friends were leaving a strip club celebrating with friends the day before his wedding. The officers involved in the case were later acquitted.
