Churches in Washington, D.C., are already cornering President-elect Barack Obama and his family to possibly join their congregation, according to the Associated Press. Still, whatever church path Obama decides to take it will likely be scrutinized because of the wide controversy stemmed around Obama’s former pastor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, for making damaging comments in the pulpit. A spokesman for Obama’s transition team refused to disclose which church the Obamas might join.
