An upstate New York county’s election board has misspelled Senator Barack Obama’s name and linked it to terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.
The error was made on absentee ballots sent out to voters in Rensselaer County labeling the two presidential candidates as “Barack Osama” and “John McCain.” The Rensselaer County Board of Elections issued a statement Friday confirming a “typographical error was made in the name of one of the candidates.” Around 300 absentee ballots were mailed out this week in Rensselaer County with Senator Obama’s last name spelled “Osama.”
