Polls around the country called last week’s presidential debate a tie, but in three key swing states respondents said otherwise.
In Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama has favor. Polling data shows he is leading Senator John McCain 51 percent to 43 percent in Florida, 50 percent to 42 percent in Ohio, and 54 percent to 39 percent in Pennsylvania.
The polls were conducted by Quinnipiac University. In each state respondents said Obama won the debate over Republican nominee McCain. Those surveyed also said they trust the Democratic nominee to better handle the economy over McCain.
