Oprah Winfrey becomes a mom? Well, in the world of Disney anything is possible. The syndicated talk-show host has signed on to voice a character in Disney’s upcoming animated film “The Princess and the Frog.”
Winfrey lends her voice to Eudora, the mother of Princess Tiana, the first African-American princess in a Disney-produced movie. Princess Tiana’s voice will be provided by Tony-winning actress Anika Noni Rose. Winfrey previously lent her vocal talent to last year’s “Bee Movie,” playing Judge Bumbleton.
The film, which takes place in the 1920’s heyday of jazz music in the French Quarter of New Orleans, is scheduled for release in 2009.
