After only three episodes, Niecy Nash’s workplace dramedy “Do Not Disturb” has been cancelled. Following lukewarm reviews and meager ratings, Fox canceled the series, which taped a total of seven episodes, after the show struggled with its viewership, which averaged about 4 million per episode and only 1.6 rating among adults 18-49. The “Clean House” host and “Reno 911!” star never let them see her sweat.
“I feel no pressure at all,” Nash told ESSENCE.com “The fact that Fox decided to make the pilot with me, an African-American woman, as the lead is an achievement. If it doesn’t work out, I trust and know it means that God has something else in store for me.”
