I did try the chili. It was good, but I mixed the ground turkey with lean ground beef. I t nneded more flavor to me. In addition, I added more seasoning than the recipe called for. has a different taste than what I'm used to, but it was good.Thank you to the president for the recipe!!

I understand people are excited but, uhm, has anybody tried making the chili? I was really looking for reviews for this dish from people before I tried making it myself. Thanks.

I typically abhor crowds and avoid them at costs. However, I had to go to D.C just to be in the midst of it all. Was not fortunate to get on the mall but I was happy to feel the energy from the crowd. President Obama, you and First Lady Michele have truly blessed my soul. I have cried myself silly. As an American I am so very proud of you both. God placed you in the White House and I believe you are going to do great things. As an African American I have a new pride and am finally glad that others can see what a fine people we are. God bless you and your family.
