Carole Brown Senior Managing Director, Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., LLC Former Chairman, Chicago Transit
Authority Carole Brown recently joined Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., L.L.C. as a Senior Managing Director, heading the firm’s Chicago office. Siebert Brandford Shank is a full-service municipal finance firm that provides investment banking, sales and trading, and financial advisory services to municipal clients across the nation. She has primary responsibility for managing the firm’s Midwest municipal practice and will head several national accounts. Prior to joining Siebert Brandford Shank, Carole briefly worked at Mesirow Financial as Senior Managing Director and Head of Public Finance. Carole joined Mesirow after a 10-year career as Managing Director at Lehman Brothers. Carole also served as Chairman of the Chicago Transit Authority Board (“CTA”), appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley, from September 2003 thru September 2009. At CTA, she oversaw policy for the nation’s second largest transportation agency. Carole is also actively involved with a variety of civic and professional institutions.
