Man Arrested Over Racial Slurs About Election

Wade Williams, a 75-year-old, Monroe, Louisiana, resident is facing a felony terrorizing charge after a racially slurred exchange with his registrar of voters, according to MSNBC. He was furious that he hadn't received his voter registration card, and threatened a state official over the phone that he would “empty his shotgun” (implying that he would hurt the official). Williams’s irritation was fueled by his urgent need to vote, because he was afraid of the possibility of a Black candidate clinching the nomination. He said I need to vote to “keep the nigger out of the office,” according to MSNBC. On the way to being booked by police, Williams reportedly continued to use the N-word and also stated that he had a shotgun, but it was hidden at his house.

This is an election to the most powerfull job in the world. The focus of this should be squarely on the candidates and thier plans to unite the country and solve its problems (the war, the economy, health care and energy to name a few) and not focused on the few out spoken racists who offer thier opinion. This issue is no different, again focus on the candidate. If this is not the direction the McCain camp wishes to go or the philosophy of his campain then Sen. McCain should step up and strip any percieved power from these people by simply saying publicly that if your reasons for voting for him are only to keep a black man out of the white house then he dosent want those votes because he cant help the country he loves by accepting separatist racist support. Since he has not, will not do this then we are left with only one option. that sen McCain agrees with his supporters and these are his beliefs as well. Vote wisely america there is more at stake than you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people are just stuck in the old times. I am white and i still cant understand how people can think that being black or brown, or yellow is any diffrant that white. We are ALL JUST PEOPLE with the same color blood. We ALL suffer pain, we ALL cry when we lose a loved one! I had some one ask me who i will vote for, i said Obama. They said why he is black. I said i vote for who i think will do the best job for the american people i dont care the color of his skin.

It is ridiculous. It is my opinion that anyone who is racist is stupid. I mean absolutely stupid. I must say this much;however, the man was out with it. He did not hide it. Most people just pretend they're not racist. I call them fakes and phony. I would rather someone just be out with it then to hide it though. People need to vote for change not color. What's color got to do with it anyway?

PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE......PLEASE GET OUT & VOTE! I have a very disturbing E-Mail that I'd like to share with all all of you - that will REMIND us that "RACISM" is definitely alive & well. Essence is there an E-Mail address that i could forward this to? This definitely needs to be seen by ALL of Barack's Supporters. Please note that we MUST vote for Barack. This is a Blessing that we cannot overlook.

Barack Obama Disguised by the images of false hope; change seems a bit invalid, He wouldn’t share his sense with this country-even if he had it Avoiding the inner voice of this dissatisfied American- Afraid of the false depiction of change; Repeated thoughts of this country’s loss while everything’s worse than the same, Shying away from finger pointing and transferring this pain- No real reasons- just visions of destructions as the blame Though, that’s all I see when I hear the uttered sound of his name, America will be more than the neglector of its citizens if we vote for John McCain! I crave a leader who will stand to his feet with the Audacity of Hope while planting seeds The seeds fertilized by dreams Embedded in our future sons and daughters that we will all achieve, Realizing a struggle is all worth more When change with the length of longevity is provided, Many politicians lie, that’s why many voters are undecided-, But, Barack Obama paints vivid illustrations of many of our silent dreams of Love, unity, better educations, and more help to restore the poor- There is no definite answer for this madness but……. Barack Obama….hmmmmm need I say more! OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA Author & Poet: Melanie Calhoun Though, we all know GOD is the only way Be blessed
