Yes, Rudy Giuliani Actually Said Trump Would Make A Better President Than Clinton Because She's A Woman

The former NYC mayor widens the divide between Trump and women voters.

Former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani is digging an even deeper hole than Donald Trump has already created for himself with his track record of negativity towards women.

In a poorly-worded attempt to show his support for the Republican presidential candidate yet again, Giuliani took aim at Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton by deeming her less qualified because...well...she's a woman.

"Don't you think a man who has this kind of economic genius is a lot better for the United States than a woman," Giuliani said during an appearance on ABC earlier this week.

The controversial GOP politician made the blatantly sexist comment just as Trump himself was under fire for recent statements about Clinton's marriage.

"I don't even think she's loyal to Bill, if you want to know the truth," Trump said at a campaign rally over the weekend. "And really, folks, really, why should she be?"  

Just last week, Trump was applauding himself for not launching an attack on Clinton's marriage during the first presidential debate.
