On Tuesday morning, Kanye was filmed walking into Trump Tower to meet the President-elect. He breezed past reporters without answering any questions before hopping into an elevator. Donald Trump's transition team confirmed to The Daily Beast that 'Ye was indeed there to meet with him. Jason Miller, communications director for Trump's team, said, "[Kanye] has had positive things to say about the President-elect." Adding that Trump is interested in "putting together coalitions'' and wants to "reach out to people both from traditional and nontraditional political viewpoints."
Following their meeting, Trump and 'Ye posed for photos. When asked what they'd discussed, Trump said, "Just friends, just friends. Good man," adding that they'd just talked about "life." 'Ye refused to answer any questions, telling reporters, "I just want to take a picture right now."
Kanye voiced his support for Donald Trump during his now canceled Saint Pablo tour: "I said something that was kind of politically correct. I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? What I didn’t tell you… If I were to have voted, I would have voted on Trump."
If you're still a Kanye fan at this point, then our prayers are with you.
