Many are still shocked by Kanye's recent meeting with President-elect Donald Trump to "discuss multicultural issues," in 'Ye's words.
Yes. That happened.
Now, close friend John Legend is voicing his disappointment with the rapper's decision to liaise with the former reality television star. Speaking with French outlet Clique, Legend explained he doesn't believe it's impossible to talk to Trump, but said "I won't be used as a publicity stunt," adding, "I think Kanye was a publicity stunt."

"I'm pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump," continued Legend. "I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he's promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing."
The interviewer went on to say that maybe Kanye had something else on his mind when meeting with Trump, but Legend shut that down, saying, "Whatever's in his mind, I disagree with him."
