As you've likely heard by now, Donald Trump recently decided that his energy as leader of the free world is best focused on hurling insults at NFL quarterback and iconic activist Colin Kaepernick.

During a rally in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday night, Trump adamantly suggested that NFL owners should fire players who "disrespect" the American flag.

All of Puerto Rico is without electricity, the healthcare benefits of millions of Americans remain in limbo, and the threat of a nuclear war with North Korea is still very real, yet the President of the United States has chosen to spend the last 24 hours making disparaging public comments about top Black athletes in the NBA and NFL.

Classy.

Naturally, thousands on social media were quick to let Trump have it in response to his outrageous comments, but none of them came close to the perfectly-worded reply from Colin Kaepernick's mother, Teresa.

Kudos to Colin Kaepernick and his mother for continuing to stand strong in the fight against social injustice in communities of color.
