Lola Ogunnaike

As the pop culture correspondent for CNN's flagship morning news program, Lola Ogunnaike reports on entertainment news. She joined the news channel last year, leaving behind The New York Times and a job interviewing celebrities including Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey for the Arts and Leisure section. She also covered breaking celebrity news for the New York Daily News. During her career, Ogunnaike has been a contributing writer to Vibe magazine, and has been published by Rolling Stone, New York, Glamour, Details, Nylon and the New York Observer. She has appeared on NBC's Today show, MTV and VH1. Ogunnaike received an MFA in journalism from New York University and a BA in English literature from the University of Virginia.
