Jason Calhoun

Jason Calhoun joined Sallie Mae in 2001 and soon became manager and vice president of Sales for True Careers. He then served as manager and vice president of the Historically Black College and Universities Initiative, a post very near and dear to his heart, having earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Howard University in 1994. Prior to joining Sallie Mae, he spent five years at Robert Half International, Inc. in various roles, including branch manager and business development director. Calhoun has more than 12 years in sales and marketing experience in both the higher education and staffing industries and is also a representative of The Sallie Mae Fund. He currently resides in Reston, Virginia, with his wife and son.
