Jazmine Maddox is a standout leader. A graduating college senior majoring in public relations, she is the president of the Black Student Union, a role she has worked toward since she joined the organization as a freshman. Since then she has worked to improve student life through alumni outreach and administration negotiations. Her leadership skills have expanded off campus as well—she was a campaign manager for a Miss Auburn candidate and belongs to Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Additionally, Maddox volunteers at multiple philanthropies. Recently she received an internship at CNN in Atlanta and was featured in the 2008 edition of Who's Who in Black Birmingham and named Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
