One look at Long Island native Jonathan Henderson's smile and you'll know exactly why we fell for him. Meet our crush of the week.
"I'm not your typical "pretty boy," the model and graphic artist said. "Everyone refers to me as a "pretty boy" but everyones interpretation of a "pretty boy" is a "player.” I’m far from a player, I respect my woman. I like to cater to whats mine and be proud of what I have. I work hard and have major goals that I will accomplish in life."
"Usually on a Friday or Saturday night, I am working as a server or bartender at P.F. Changs all day and night and then afterwards if I have the energy, I'll usually head out for a few drinks just to get out for the night. Depends on my mood for the night but I usually like to go to a local bar or club for some good music and drinks. I keep it simple for the most part."
"I'm seeing someone right now, she lives in Massachusetts, so we're working on the distance thing. It works for now because we both have crazy busy schedules with me working 7 days a week and she's working on her masters degree, the distance sort of helps us focus on our careers. Its just hard not seeing each other all the time."
"Love is an interesting thing," the cutie shared. "To me, Love comes when it comes. I don't look for love because I've been in love before and the hurt that comes with it when things don't work out is a whole different feeling. When I fall, I fall hard and I try to make my lady feel like a Queen. I take my time with love because it's not a toy to play with."
"Cooking is one thing that will always win me over! A woman that can cook is always a plus. Also confidence is a major key. A confident woman that is proud of her insecurities and knows that she is beautiful is extremely sexy to me. I love a hard working and independent woman. One's that play hard to get and don't make it so easy for me. I like a challenge, I'm not the type to just take whatever lands on my lap."
"I have been doing graphic design for the past 14 years," the Virgo admitted. "I started off with basic computer photo editing programs, and than once I reached high school is when I came across Adobe Photoshop and from there on out it was determined that I was meant to be a graphic artist."
Three things you might not expect about this 25-year-old Long Island native?
"As open and talkative as I can be, I'm very shy at times but as i've grown i've become more open," he says. "I'm a computer nerd and I'm not that athletic. Most people figure because of my size and build, I played a lot of sports, but i gave up sports early around high school because my grades were terrible and I was a lazy student. I decided to focus more on my art instead and it made me the dope graphic artist I am today."
"My DM's are crazy! I never thought I'd get some of the messages I get from all different types of women but it's nothing but pure entertainment. I've got one consistent person who will never give up but like I said it's pure entertainment to me."
"I do love what I do and that's what keeps me going. Not many people actually LOVE what they do. They may like it enough to get by but I actually enjoy what I do. I love creating new projects and seeing the final outcome of my work shows how much I progress each project. I'm very inspired by different artwork on CD covers that I see on iTunes and different websites and I utilize those covers as a template for what I am about to create next, and I try to do better than what I've seen already. All the positive and negative feedback is what keeps me going as well. I love to hear opinions of my work because I get all different kinds of feedback from all different types of people. I take it all into consideration and think back to it every design moving forward."
"I don't have any children but I have a niece and nephew who I look at as my own. I'm great with kids and my niece and nephew mean the world to me. I can't wait to be a father one day. I know I will be a great father and be able to show them their roots and share secrets to being great in this crazy world we live in."
"I’m pretty nice in the kitchen! My all time favorite is baked macaroni and cheese. I've yet to meet anyone that makes better baked mac and cheese than my mother. She showed me her way of making it and I've perfected it almost better than her. My mom still makes it better but give me a few more years and she'll have some real competition!" We'd love to have a taste!
