Magic and Cookie Johnson and enjoyed some quality time together while volunteering with the Magic Johnson Foundation, Feed the Children and United Healthcare.
The power couple returned to their home state of Michigan to bring some holiday cheer to Flint, Detroit and Lansing with their #HolidayHope2016.
The Johnsons went to three cities in two days to serve over 5,000 families in the state.
After already pledging $250,000 to the Flint Community Schools, the Johnsons returned to the area to donate much need winter clothing and personal care items to the residence of Flint. Magic and Cookie also returned to the NBA star’s former high school, Everett High School, with hundreds of bikes in hand to pass out the the children of Lansing.
The couple distributed food, toys and clothes to families in need with an array of events throughout the state. Cookie took to Instagram to share some to the days events with her fans. “Serving others as a family! #HolidayHope2016 #MagicJohnsonFoundation #Blessed #Grateful,” she shared.
Magic’s oldest son, Andre Johnson and his family also came out to help with the event.
