Yep, Donald Glover Thanked Migos After 'Atlanta' Won Golden Globe For Best TV Series Comedy

Glover also thanked all the Black folks in Atlanta and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Atlanta, the FX show created by Donald Glover won the Golden Globe Sunday night for Best TV Series Comedy.

Glover, dressed in a velvet brown suit, seemed shocked by the win when he took the stage to accept the award alongside the cast and producers.

“We were not expecting this,” he said before thanking the whole cast and writing team. “We didn’t think anyone would like this show, so we appreciate it.”

“I really wanna thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta... just for being alive and doing amazing and being amazing people,” he added. “I wouldn’t be here without Atlanta.”

But as the surprise finally settled in, he made sure to end his with thanks for one more thing:

“And I really wanna thank The Migos, not for being in the show but  for making Bad & Boujee. Like that’s the best song ever!” LOL!
